I am so excited to share this amazing course with you and support you in your new journey towards accomplished teaching in writing.  This specific course is one that I created and have had the opportunity to teach this course with more than a hundred other educators in my district and across my state, Alaska, and I’m excited to bring this course online to reach even more teachers around the globe!  Additionally, this course has been offered for 1-3 graduate credits. I designed this online, self-guided course to include a variety of media content delivery and shared resources to support all types of learning styles.  Based upon course reviews and testimonials, teachers found this course to be the perfect dose of inspiration they needed to launch or jumpstart their writing program.

Before you begin this course, please order the required textbook, Best Practices: Bringing Standards to Life in America's Classroom, as listed in the resource guide.  This text is a great resource, not only for English Language Arts, but ALL subjects in the elementary curriculum.
